So you are having a snow day in Barrie...

(note that you can click on any photo to see it enlarged - at least the ones I posted correctly :-)

The lands of extremes eh?

As you folks in Barrie / Canada dig out from the snow and defrost from the frigid temperatures, we are trying to stay cool.

Sunset walks on the beach do the trick nicely.

And this one is for Ranger

It is nice to know that in Barrie there is actually snow on a snow day! Today we had no snow yet the boys were home for the 7th day this school year. Needless to say, Alistair LOVES Oxbow. (Montessori never closed for the weather!)

I am sure Ranger would love the picture of the dog if only it had no water in it. We have discovered that as much as he hates the water, he LOVES SNOW! We think he is becoming more Husky than Lab as he ages. So in other words, at least of of us is enjoying the weather. We'd be happy to send you a truckload if you need to keep cool.

PS Did Mike get to see any of the Superbowl live?

Hi guys,
Looking at your photos and hearing about how warm it is there is about the only thing that's keeping me from becoming completely frozen these days!
I even started up my own blog, just so you can see some photos of good ol' Ontario in February.. brrrrr!!! Check it out: http://thedziubas.blogspot.com/

Love all of the pictures and stories so far. Can't wait to see more...
Take care,
Joanne

Hi Audrey - pics are great - just got back from a week skiing at Mount Tremblant in Quebec - you think it's cold here in Newmarket - the average day skiing was - 19 - warming up to a balmy - 16!! Love the pics - keep them and the stories coming!
